MEET MELISSA
Melissa Mashburn is a respected author, speaker, and ministry coach with over 25 years of dedicated service to local churches. Throughout her career, Melissa has contributed her expertise to church staff teams of varying sizes, ranging from 90 to over 44,000 in weekend attendance.
As the Mashburns Consulting Group Co-Founder and the CEO of The Ministry Chick Network, Melissa is at the forefront of empowering women worldwide. Leading a community of over 3500 women, she is committed to providing resources and fostering connections to help female leaders thrive in the church. Her latest book, "Ministry Chick: Find Your Community, Own Your Leadership, Take Your Step," reflects her passion for empowering women in ministry.
In her personal life, Melissa celebrates a remarkable 31-year marriage to her best friend, Matt. Having relocated from Kentucky to the vibrant state of Texas, Melissa continues to impact the landscape of ministry leadership significantly.

MEET Erin
Erin Pickering is a seasoned leader at the intersection of creative strategy, spiritual formation, and small-group ministry. Her career spans nonprofit conservation work and global brand partnerships—including Coca-Cola, Warner Brothers, and Compassion International—before stepping into full-time ministry with a Master’s in Worship and an MDiv from Liberty University.
She now equips churches and leaders across the country, contributing to national discipleship conversations and serving with the National Small Group Conference.
Erin coaches leaders, develops community-building systems, co-leads The Ministry Chick Network, and is currently writing her first book on the transformative power of the table in discipleship and leadership. She also runs PicksVacations, helping families and teams create meaningful travel experiences. Erin lives in Beaufort, South Carolina, with her husband, Dony, and their beloved dog, Sweet Bugs.
MEET Dr. Brandy
Dr. Brandy Baxter, AFC, FFC
Brandy is the Owner of Living Abundantly, a financial coaching practice where she supports clients on their journey to financial freedom. She’s also the owner of Envision 30, a coaching and consulting firm where she partners with leaders who to think from the future.
Brandy is an Accredited Financial Counselor and a Financial Coach. She has a B.A. in Communication, a M.S. in Management, a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with an emphasis in Foresight.
Brandy is a veteran of the United States Air Force, a spouse of an Air Force veteran, and strives to be a servant leader in her community.
Brandy is a recipient of the Governor’s Volunteer Award, a member of the Association of Financial Counseling Planning and Education (AFCPE) Board of Directors, the Global Women’s Ministry Director for a multi-campus church, and the Vice-Chair for her city’s Housing Board.
Brandy is passionate about seeing women grow in their faith through intentional discipleship, a Godly relationship, and authentic friendship.
Brandy dances in the space where faith, finances, and foresight meet. She supports her clients by applying faith-infused strategies to various scenarios that provide multiple pathways for reaching their goals.
