I’m Erin, and This Is My Story

For more than 20 years, my work has lived at the intersection of connection, story, and experience. From leading small group ministries to shaping church-wide discipleship strategies — and even navigating the corporate world — my journey has always centered on helping people connect. Sometimes that’s a connection with Scripture, sometimes with one another, and sometimes with a message or brand that truly resonates.

Early in my career, I worked in public education and conservation, speaking to thousands at the South Carolina Aquarium and training volunteers across the state. Those experiences taught me how to communicate clearly, lead confidently, and design environments where people feel seen and engaged.

Since then, I’ve directed national live events for brands like Snyders-Lance and other multibillion-dollar food and Beverage corporations, Whirlpool, and the Travel Tourism campaigns for the State of South Carolina., worked in communications and creative strategy and helped develop multimillion-dollar campaigns. These in-person and digital experiences deepened my understanding of story, audience engagement, and the narratives that move people to action.

In ministry leadership, I’ve launched major discipleship initiatives, built volunteer systems that significantly increased leader retention, and produced conferences and events serving more than 5,000 people weekly.

This year, I also spoke at the National Small Groups Conference and The Lobby Conference with the Small Group Network — moments that reminded me how much I love equipping leaders and shaping the environments they serve in.

With a Master of Divinity from Liberty University, certifications in Working Genius, and an extensive background in communications, marketing, and design, I bring both strategic insight and creative clarity to the work I do. Whether I’m writing, designing, teaching, or leading, I’m passionate about crafting meaningful, well-organized experiences that help people grow, connect, and build strong community.

Savor The Conversation

Coming 2026.

What if the most sacred moments of discipleship happened around a table, not a pulpit?

In Savor the Conversation, Lead Like Jesus did with a Meal, a Story and an open seat at the table. This book explores the way Jesus used the table as His primary method for shaping people. Not as a symbol. Not as scenery. As His strategy. Through meals, conversations, tension, and presence, Jesus revealed the Kingdom, formed leaders, and transformed lives.

Savor the Conversation invites readers into that rhythm. Drawing from Scripture, ancient Hebrew table culture, modern leadership insights, and your work as a certified Working Genius Facilitator, this book uncovers the practical and spiritual power of slowing down, listening well, and leading with intention.

Readers will see how Jesus handled conflict, navigated personality differences, created space for real growth, and used conversation as a catalyst for transformation. Each chapter helps people translate His method into their own relationships, teams, families, and ministries.

This is a guide for anyone who wants to communicate with purpose, cultivate meaningful connection, and understand others through a Christ-centered lens. It’s both deeply theological and profoundly practical—warm, accessible, and rooted in the belief that the table is still one of the most powerful places for spiritual formation today.

In a hurried world, Savor the Conversation calls us back to the place where transformation actually happens: the sacred space where people sit, share, talk, and are changed.
